  • Generate internal and external product documentation, presentations, and technical reports
  • Design and conduct experiments, measure material and device properties, and interpret data
  • Track advancements in 3D integration and quantum information and implement new technologies and methodologies
  • Collaborate with customers, start-ups, and universities to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Explore new growth areas leveraging Applied Materials’ precision materials engineering expertise
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects
  • Build consensus while explaining difficult or sensitive information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience
  • Strong semiconductor and 3D integration background
  • Knowledge of process, module, and device integration
  • Experience with advanced packaging, process, hardware, and metrology
  • Ability to design experiments, collect and analyze data, and compile reports
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex process engineering issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to measure material and device properties and interpret data
  • Knowledge of 3D integration, quantum information, semiconductor processing, and related fields
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, start-ups, universities, vendors, and suppliers
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
