About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex systems and equipment
- Work closely with customers to develop leading-edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips
- Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE)
- Analyze experimental data using statistics and compile reports with high-level conclusions
- Troubleshoot complex problems and perform multiple root cause analyses
- Resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve goals and build trusted relationships
- Apply best practices and existing solutions to offer new perspectives
- Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and liaison between customers and the business unit
- Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in the display fab or equipment industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to explain sensitive information and build consensus among project stakeholders
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
