About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate UX research insights, interaction designs, and visual specifications into performant, scalable front-end implementations
  • Develop and maintain reusable UI components aligned with design-system and UI-kit standards
  • Contribute to full-stack development and integrate front-end experiences with backend services
  • Optimize applications for usability, WCAG accessibility compliance, responsiveness, and performance
  • Govern design-system implementation across products and platforms
  • Enforce standards for typography, colors, spacing, tokens, and component usage
  • Partner with UX designers to evolve design systems and convert design artifacts into coded components and documentation
  • Establish design-to-code workflows using Figma Dev Mode, design tokens, and component libraries
  • Lead and mentor UI developers in design-thinking and user-centered practices
  • Provide UX and technical guidance, conduct design and code reviews, and develop training materials and workshops
  • Bridge UX Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams
  • Champion empathy mapping, journey mapping, iterative prototyping, user interviews, usability testing, and continuous user validation
  • Build high-fidelity prototypes and interactive proof-of-concepts using React, Angular, Vue, or Native Mobile frameworks
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders on UX strategy, APIs, architecture, rationale, constraints, and implementation
  • Establish front-end quality, testing, maintainability, and inclusive-design standards
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and improve UX/UI engineering workflows and product quality
  • Drive design-system adoption, reduce UI defects and inconsistencies, accelerate design-to-code turnaround, and improve usability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development with strong UX/UI collaboration
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of UX design principles, including interaction design, usability, and information architecture
  • Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design tokens
  • Proficiency translating design tools such as Figma into production code
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional agile teams
  • Experience leading full-stack front-end design and coding activities in enterprise software development preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications or complex system design in semiconductor or equivalent high-tech industries preferred
  • Background building or scaling design systems in large organizations preferred
  • Knowledge of backend technologies and APIs such as Node.js and Python preferred
  • Experience with AI-assisted development or design-to-code tooling preferred
  • Ability to operate across UX design and UI development domains
  • Ability to guide UI developers and engineers through coaching, training, and example-setting
  • Ability to align UX and engineering efforts with product and business goals
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
