Associate Sales Representative
Applied Medical Technology, Inc. (AMT). Assist sales representatives in achieving goals by setting appointments in their territories .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist sales representatives in achieving goals by setting appointments in their territories
- Compile and forward sales leads to sales representatives
- Assist in generating additional sales of AMT products
- Assist in creating sales and marketing tools for AMT products
- Perform customer in-services when requested by sales representatives
- Travel as needed, including to at least one tradeshow or conference
- Train and provide in-service support to customers
- Assist sales representatives as needed
- Maintain understanding of distribution channels and key industry leaders
- Assist with sales documents
- Generate miscellaneous sales reports
- Maintain product and market knowledge
- Support profitable sales growth through incentive-program goals
- Perform general office and other assigned duties
- Report to the National Sales Manager; no supervisory responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years of inside sales experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Understanding of contract administration
- Business acumen with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume
- Ability to apply basic algebra, geometry, probability, statistical inference, fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to communicate effectively, perform complex numerical analysis, interpret written materials, develop teams, ensure policy compliance, respond to feedback, maintain working relationships, troubleshoot, and solve problems
- Knowledge of modern business communication, office procedures, and methods
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork
- May be required to pass drug, alcohol, credit, and/or criminal background checks
