About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud-hosted application instances across Azure environments
Deploy and manage web-based and desktop-based applications, including application delivery via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows between SaaS platforms, VM-hosted applications, and third-party APIs
Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and usage
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues
Manage application and infrastructure configurations, including patching, updates, version control, and security/compliance enforcement
Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks using DevOps best practices
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability
Perform other duties as assigned
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and scalable architecture across enterprise platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen
4-5 years of experience in cloud application administration and integration engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Must have or be willing to attain a TS/SCI Clearance
Security+ required, but can be worked after hiring
Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking
Experience managing and deploying both web-based and desktop-based applications in virtualized or cloud-hosted environments
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
All positions are subject to background investigations, including criminal history and identity check
Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred: Microsoft Azure cloud certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate
Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred: Knowledge of hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing integration strategies
Preferred: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and similar monitoring and observability tools
Preferred: Background in enterprise application integration (EAI) or data integration platforms
Preferred: Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and role-based access controls
Preferred: Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
Preferred: Background in scripting or automation
