About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Looker Studio and Power BI
- Partner with Data Engineering to migrate and validate dashboard data models during the GCP-to-Azure/Snowflake migration
- Perform exploratory data analysis across BigQuery and Snowflake datasets
- Write and optimize SQL and build or maintain dbt models for scalable, governed data marts
- Collaborate on Dagster-orchestrated data pipelines and contribute to troubleshooting and data model design
- Explore and prototype agentic AI and data science solutions, including LLM-powered analysis, automated insight generation, and predictive or propensity modeling
- Apply data governance principles, support privacy and retention deletion workflows through OneTrust, and ensure correct PII handling across CRM/MarTech integrations
- Own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle from requirements gathering and data modeling through dashboard validation and stakeholder walkthroughs
- Identify data quality issues and partner with Data Engineering to resolve root causes
- Stay current on BI and analytics tooling and recommend improvements to the reporting stack
- Support the Kraft Heinz DXP Platform team through and beyond its migration from Google Cloud Platform to Azure and Snowflake
- Explore platform data and surface insights, trends, and anomalies for business stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a hybrid analytics engineering role
- Strong SQL skills across BigQuery and/or Snowflake, including complex queries, CTEs, and window functions
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Looker Studio and/or Power BI
- Working knowledge of dbt for data modeling and transformation
- Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools; Dagster preferred, Airflow or similar acceptable
- Understanding of data governance and privacy compliance concepts, ideally with OneTrust or a similar platform
- Experience with CRM/MarTech data sources such as Customer.io, Twilio Segment, or comparable CDP/ESP platforms
- Some hands-on data engineering skills, including Python, pipeline debugging, and schema design, are a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills for translating data findings into business insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting a cloud data migration is a plus
- Curious, insight-first mindset and ability to proactively surface data insights
