About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manually match reported data relating to usage of productions and programmes
- Manually enter and match data directly in the system where data is not provided digitally
- Research titles and related information online to enhance matching outcomes and maintain data integrity
- Identify anomalies in auto-matched data and advise the Manager about patterns or consistent issues
- Review and identify possible incorrect matches and transfer performances as required
- Identify inconsistent or irregular reporting from data sources and advise the Manager and stakeholders
- Research internal or external queries about reported usage and gather information for accurate responses
- Collate, research, ingest and match reporting related to Print Distributions
- Maintain accurate records of data received, processed and outstanding, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assist with training and creation or revision of procedure documents
- Perform general administration and data cleanup tasks as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical skills with bigger picture understanding of processes, the music industry and APRA’s role
- Technical understanding of key data processing elements: pre-processing/parsing, aggregation, validation and matching
- Great understanding of Microsoft tools, including Excel and Word, to manipulate and present data
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate technical terminology to plain English
- General knowledge of contemporary and popular music, broadcast, and film and TV programmes
