About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Skillfully and accurately perform audits
- Prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
- Compile financial statements into a written report to be presented
- Create and strengthen relationships with coworkers and clients
- Travel 15–20% of the time
- Help companies improve financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
- Evaluate accounting issues and accounting regulations affecting business growth
- Help identify areas for improving operating efficiencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related finance course
- Licensed CPA is a plus
- At least 1 year of experience working for an Accounting firm
- Understanding and applying Excel skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- Client handling background is a plus
