About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
- Register and manage fixed assets and prepaids in Workday modules.
- Run monthly amortization and depreciation.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, recurring, and one-time transactions.
- Assist with daily cash recording and ad hoc banking tasks.
- Investigate and resolve variance analysis issues.
- Prepare revenue journals.
- Support audit requirements and seasonal tasks such as 1099 reporting.
- Maintain vendor listings and coordinate with the AP team for accrual completeness.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects and strategic analysis with senior management.
- Work closely with U.S.-based teams and other global offices.
- Provide guidance to junior associates, assist with training, and support the manager.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A valid CPA license is an advantage for this role.
- Amenable to work mid shift 3 pm to 12 am PHT and/or 8 pm to 5 am PHT.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or any Finance related.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Preferred but not required: Experience in US shared services or global business services environment.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid work set up: 2x in the office and 3x WFH.
