About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with preparation of tax returns
- Support clients in tax research and planning strategies
- Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance considerations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative and practical tax solutions
- Interact with professionals across the firm to support client service initiatives
- Assist with assurance engagements
- Support evaluation of internal controls and financial reporting processes
- Analyze financial data and documentation to identify potential risks or areas for improvement
- Participate in testing procedures and audit documentation
- Collaborate with team members to help clients maintain compliance with evolving accounting standards
- Potentially travel to client sites

Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Minimum 3.3 GPA
- On track to meet CPA eligibility requirements with a clear plan to pursue CPA licensure
- Interest in pursuing a full-time career in public accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to apply Excel skills in data analysis and reporting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients and team members
- No classes are permitted during the duration of the internship period
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Spring internships require 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours
- Summer internships require 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, during standard business hours
