  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating responsibilities and overseeing work product to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Develop and implement tax strategies by staying current with changing tax laws and regulations and identifying planning opportunities
  • Provide consulting services to clients on mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring
  • Conduct tax research to remain current with evolving tax laws and identify opportunities for tax planning
  • Prepare and review S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, and Corporate tax returns
  • Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and service excellence
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Lead and shape a high-performing private client tax practice
  • Advise clients on strategic, high-impact tax planning matters
  • Own client relationships across a dynamic portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
  • Experience with S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, and Corporate returns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology
  • Experience managing a team
  • Master's degree in Taxation (preferred)
  • CPA (Required)
  • Knowledge of tax planning, tax compliance, tax research, and tax consulting
  • Flow-Through Entity Taxation Expertise
