About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor the progress of studies and service providers
  • Coordinate disciplines and stakeholders, including the engineering management team (MOE), project management assistance team (AMO), design offices, and contractors
  • Track technical, organizational, and schedule interfaces between disciplines, contracts, and related operations
  • Develop and maintain the project management schedule
  • Analyze variances and monitor costs, timelines, risks, and changes
  • Verify the completeness and consistency of tender documentation
  • Compile tender packages and manage missing input data
  • Prepare the tender process and respond to bidders’ questions
  • Coordinate and consolidate the technical evaluation of bids
  • Finalize contracts
  • Ensure a smooth handover from design to construction
  • Monitor detailed design studies and construction schedules
  • Prepare meetings and project reviews
  • Draft minutes, executive summaries, and decision-support briefs
  • Raise alerts regarding any deviations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or a master’s degree (Bac+5) in civil engineering, railway engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience managing or overseeing railway projects, on the client, engineering, or contractor side
  • Experience with the DCE, ACT, and REA phases
  • Cross-functional knowledge of railway systems, including signaling, power, and telecommunications, is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, forward-thinking approach, and excellent summarization skills
  • Comfortable coordinating a wide range of stakeholders
