About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and facilitate routine customer-facing project meetings, including status discussions, planning sessions, and progress reviews
  • Drive project schedules and maintain timeline accuracy
  • Ensure cross-functional contributors remain aligned to deliverables
  • Own and maintain project governance artifacts, including schedules, communication plans, deliverable trackers, and RAID logs
  • Identify risks, issues, and blockers and escalate when intervention or senior decision-making is required
  • Manage day-to-day customer communications related to project progress, dependencies, and delivery alignment
  • Ensure project tasks, deliverables, and milestones remain visible, tracked, and on schedule
  • Coordinate engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute structured status reports
  • Ensure follow-through on action items from customer and internal meetings
  • Maintain communication cadence across engagements
  • Manage timesheet approvals and accurate allocation of project hours
  • Support burn reports, budget tracking inputs, and forecasting
  • Maintain structured project documentation repositories
  • Perform version control and keep project artifacts current and accessible
  • Assist with requirements intake, planning artifacts, and project startup logistics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • US Citizenship (mandatory)
  • SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain
  • Approximately 5 or more years of experience managing or coordinating technical, software, engineering, or Federal contracting projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing project discussions and manage day-to-day delivery execution with autonomy
  • Strong capability in producing high-quality project documentation including status reports, schedules, delivery trackers, RAID logs, and meeting summaries
  • Ability to drive clarity, structure, and accountability across dynamic project environments
  • Excellent communication skills for both customer-facing and internal interactions
  • Experience operating within structured delivery frameworks and managing escalations appropriately
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Program/Project Management, or related field
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, mission-driven Federal contracting environments
  • Willingness to travel up to ~10%
  • Preferred: Experience working with DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian customers
  • Preferred: Experience with Federal contracting processes, deliverables, and compliance expectations
  • Preferred: Familiarity with MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • Preferred: CAPM, PMP, or CSM certification (not required)
