About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical subject-matter expert and strategic advisor for customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, partners, and field sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Understand customer business objectives, technical requirements, application architectures, and cloud transformation strategies
  • Develop end-to-end solution architectures using CaaS, Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, storage, networking, and automation technologies
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and executive-level technical discussions
  • Deliver technical presentations and customized customer demonstrations
  • Support account teams with technical strategies, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution positioning
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and build automation frameworks that accelerate adoption and migration across heterogeneous cloud environments
  • Report to the Senior Director, Presales, within the Global Presales Organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture, technical consulting, presales, or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cloud-as-a-Service (CaaS) and cloud-native technologies
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and at least one major public cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies, distributed systems, and persistent storage for cloud-native workloads
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and Kubernetes networking concepts
  • Hands-on experience developing automation using Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, APIs, or similar tools
  • Experience designing and implementing Proofs of Concept and customer demonstrations
  • Experience developing automation frameworks for cloud migration, workload migration, or infrastructure transformation
  • Strong understanding of hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures
  • Excellent communication, presentation, technical writing, and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams and executive stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel globally when required
  • Successful candidates must engage in a security clearance process regarding citizenship
  • Candidate must have the legal ability to perform fundamental job duties under applicable security-clearance requirements
