About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write realistic Excel tasks based on personal deal, credit and research work
- Extend existing models, fix broken models, and build models from a brief
- Work through each task to establish a clear, correct answer
- Write precise yes-or-no criteria for grading attempts
- Attend a 30-minute group walkthrough call after applying
- Create and submit an original task, input workbooks, and expected-result write-up
- Submit tasks for automated screening and team review
- Write a detailed yes-or-no rubric when frontier AI models produce incorrect results
- Collaborate with a reviewer for task sign-off and complete requested revisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in investment banking, credit, structured finance, project finance, restructuring or equity research
- Deep hands-on Excel experience, including purchase accounting, calendarisation, circular references, goal seek, nested formulas and financial functions
- Clear writing; tasks must be written by you, not by AI tools
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn concepts in AI and Evals
- Submit a CV
- Attend an available 30-minute group walkthrough call
- Create and submit one original task from your own work
- Submit the brief, actual input workbook(s), and a write-up of the expected result
- Input files must be human-built and use sanitised real data or public data with the source named
- Use only materials authorised for sharing, with confidential employer, client and personal information removed, including from hidden sheets, comments, pivot caches and external links
