About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with sales, operations, customer success, and RevOps to set priorities and create a roadmap
  • Build and maintain internal tools and drive adoption
  • Build and maintain SaaS integrations and data pipelines, keeping data accurate and synchronized
  • Establish a single source of truth for customers, deals, installations, and payments
  • Lead developers by scoping work, unblocking them, reviewing code, and maintaining a high quality bar
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions and manage SaaS vendors and consultants
  • Own identity and access management, including onboarding, offboarding, and credential hygiene
  • Provide teams and AI tools with secure, governed access to company data
  • Set up monitoring and alerting and lead incident response
  • Maintain documentation and runbooks
  • Set timelines, deliver work, and flag risks early

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Track record of shipping production software others relied on as the primary engineer, including work from the past year
  • Experience leading engineers, including contractors: scoping work, reviewing code, and owning results
  • Daily, hands-on use of AI-assisted development
  • Experience building third-party API integrations and data pipelines with data quality checks
  • Comfort with relational databases and writing queries to debug connected-system data issues
  • Experience migrating data from spreadsheets and legacy tools into a system of record
  • Experience with access management and security practices for production systems
  • Experience deploying, monitoring, and recovering production systems without data loss
  • Strong written communication and experience working with non-technical stakeholders and vendors
  • Experience with platforms such as Supabase, BigQuery, Fivetran, HubSpot, Aircall, Salesmsg, Docusign, or CompanyCam is a bonus
