About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Harmonize microelectronics distributed databases between Century Water and Aquatech for unit-operation databases covering AVL, process sizing, and costing for UPW and WWT
Participate in meetings with potential microelectronics customers developing RFPs for water and wastewater treatment systems
Guide customers in developing concept designs leading to paid Engineering Services Agreements or direct procurement
Review customer inputs and formulate Design Basis Reports for concept development
Develop design alternatives with Block Flow Diagrams and expected performance data
Perform process calculations to size non-thermal treatment processes and equipment
Facilitate internal reviews with application teams
Coordinate process calculations with the ICD group to size thermal treatment processes and equipment
Coordinate and participate in laboratory or pilot testing
Develop Process Flow Diagrams for concept-note submissions
Develop budgetary cost estimates with the Cost Estimation team
Compile comprehensive Concept Notes as final concept-design deliverables
Organize concept-note process-evaluation workshops and secure client decisions on process configurations
Draft Engineering Services Agreement proposals
Assist Sales and Business Development in responding to customer queries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Ability to perform sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, with limited walking and standing
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly
Ability to travel up to 50%
