About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build backend services in C#/.NET on Azure running on Kubernetes (AKS)
- Own the path to production by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Containerize services and deploy them to AKS
- Monitor, troubleshoot and tune production systems, including logs, metrics, alerts and performance
- Build customer-facing Angular web applications for dashboards, analytics and water-utility management
- Build and maintain mobile applications using Angular, Capacitor, Android and iOS
- Build GenAI features using LLMs to turn data into answers and automation
- Work with large-scale IoT telemetry and time-series data from field devices
- Define feature specifications and acceptance criteria
- Drive AI coding agents through implementation and review their output
- Own architecture, correctness and shipped results
- Help write and improve repository AI context, conventions and skills
- Use AI for code review and test generation while ensuring human approval of every merge
- Collaborate in small cross-functional squads with short cycles and deploy directly to production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven full stack experience shipping production software
- Strong C#/.NET, including ASP.NET Core and Web API
- Strong Angular, TypeScript, RxJS and component architecture
- Heavy daily use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar
- Judgment to evaluate AI-generated output and determine when to trust or discard it
- Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar, Docker and Kubernetes deployments
- Solid SQL and relational database experience, including SQL Server or equivalent
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices or distributed systems
- Experience with Git and CI/CD
- Good written and spoken English
- Significant advantages: production LLM/GenAI experience with RAG, agents or Azure OpenAI
- Significant advantages: Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM; Helm; and deep AKS experience
- Significant advantages: observability tooling such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana or Prometheus
- Significant advantages: Capacitor or another hybrid mobile framework and publishing to the App Store or Google Play
- Significant advantages: IoT, telemetry or messaging technologies such as Service Bus, Event Hubs, Kafka or MQTT
- Significant advantages: high-volume data processing and performance tuning
- Applicants should provide a CV and a short note describing something built with AI agents, including what was requested, what the AI got wrong and how it was fixed
- Strong mid-level to senior candidates are sought
