About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of 6 engineers, owning delivery, execution quality, and technical direction at the team level
- Act as the primary representative of the team, partnering with stakeholders and contributing to team-level planning, prioritization, and resource allocation
- Build and evolve backend services using .NET 8 and .NET 10, contributing 30–40% hands-on
- Build and evolve the product toolset based on PowerShell and Azure DevOps, contributing 30–40% hands-on
- Design and implement cloud-native applications deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Drive end-to-end delivery using Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management
- Work with infrastructure defined via Terraform and Crossplane
- Ensure production readiness across security, observability, reliability, and performance
- Own code quality, testing standards, and technical debt management within the team
- Balance on-call and customer priorities with team-level delivery commitments
- Mentor engineers, drive clear technical communication, and enforce high engineering standards
- Participate in L3 on-call rotation, handling incident triage and driving root-cause resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with strong focus on backend development in .NET
- Proven experience as a tech lead or senior engineer leading delivery for a team
- Hands-on experience building and operating applications on Azure (AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, network services) or a similar cloud stack
- Solid understanding of containerized applications and Kubernetes
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication skills to drive alignment and execution without ambiguity
- Self-driven, with a bias toward ownership and delivering outcomes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and GitOps workflows
- Hands-on experience with Grafana LGTM stack
- Experience with high-availability, production SaaS environments
