About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and evolve backend services in .NET 10 for a production SaaS platform
Design and implement cloud-native applications on Azure
Own end-to-end delivery in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management
Build and maintain internal product tooling using PowerShell
Manage infrastructure defined as code using Terraform or similar
Drive production readiness across security, observability, reliability, and performance
Uphold code quality and testing standards within the team
Participate longer term in the L3 on-call rotation, including incident triage and root-cause resolution
Contribute to front-end features using React and TypeScript as needed, primarily backend-focused
Join a 5-engineer product team as an individual contributor

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily backend development in .NET
Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
Hands-on experience building and operating applications on a public cloud platform, Azure preferred, including compute, managed database, storage, and networking services
General Infrastructure-as-Code experience
Solid understanding of containerized applications
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps preferred
Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Kubernetes/AKS desired
Clear communicator; self-driven with a bias toward ownership and delivering outcomes
Familiarity with React and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with the Grafana LGTM observability stack
Practical use of agentic AI workflows based on Anthropic Claude Code or OpenAI Codex
Familiarity with Linux and Bash terminal
Experience operating high-availability production SaaS environments
