About the role

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services if applicable, and ongoing outpatient treatment
  • Work within a collaborative, patient-centered care model

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided
  • Valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number and all other licenses and certificates lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience; outpatient preferred
  • Ability to function independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work productively and effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of medical processes and procedures
  • Adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy
  • Compliance with prescription drug monitoring program regulations
  • Preferred: experience treating diverse age groups
  • Preferred: comfort with telepsychiatry
  • Preferred: knowledge of evidence-based medication protocols
