About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Architectural Project Leader for planning, design, and delivery of Federal healthcare projects through successful completion
  • Support growth objectives of the Federal Healthcare Practice
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, programming, and construction administration
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Federal healthcare clients, agencies, and industry partners
  • Drive business development through client engagement, pursuit strategy, proposals, interviews, and strategic positioning
  • Identify and support opportunities within existing Federal contracts, IDIQ vehicles, and task order programs
  • Collaborate with architectural, engineering, and healthcare leaders to support practice growth and project excellence
  • Mentor, coach, and develop architects, designers, and technical staff
  • Support resource planning and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with Federal design standards, healthcare regulations, building codes, life safety requirements, and agency-specific criteria
  • Represent Arcadis at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed Architect (RA) in the United States, with ability to obtain additional state registrations as required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • 10-15+ years of architectural experience, including significant Federal healthcare project delivery experience
  • Strong understanding of Federal healthcare design standards, project delivery methods, regulatory requirements, and healthcare operations
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and mentoring architects, designers, and technical staff
  • Strong business development skills and demonstrated ability to build client relationships and support pursuit and growth strategies
  • Proficiency in Revit across all project phases
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation and construction administration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills
  • U.S. citizenship required due to Federal project requirements
  • LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) preferred
