About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and coordinate electrical systems for industrial and municipal projects, emphasizing water and wastewater treatment plant buildings and associated electrical systems
- Perform design calculations and develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications
- Review manufacturer information for compliance with specifications
- Provide engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals and shop drawings
- Respond to contractor RFIs (requests for information)
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to provide technical and design consulting services focused on power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and grounding design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a closely related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or REVIT (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of power distribution and motor control concepts (preferred)
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations
