About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a key member of multiple electrical design teams
- Produce construction-ready design packages reflecting design documentation and scope compliance
- Design facilities for the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC)
- Focus on SCIFs, ICD 705 compliance, and TEMPEST shielding
- Ensure compliance with federal and industry standards
- Design and model using ETAP, SpecsIntact, Revit, Autodesk Forma, AutoCAD, Elum Tools, SKM, EDSA, and Easy Power
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and federal clients
- Participate in site visits and client engagement, with approximately 20% travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal project work)
- Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design with extensive focus on federal government/agency projects
- Proven experience delivering IFC design packages for federal facilities
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Registered EIT
- Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the U.S. is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills related to presentations, speaking, and written work
- Experience with SCIFs, ICD 705 compliance, and TEMPEST shielding
- Fluency in ETAP and SpecsIntact; experience with Revit, Autodesk Forma, AutoCAD, Elum Tools, SKM, EDSA, Easy Power
- Knowledge of UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UBC, IEC, CE, and EN standards
- Familiarity with NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS is a plus
