About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support environmental assessment and remediation projects alongside Senior Scientists/Engineers, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts
  • Provide program support for projects serving the US Federal Government and industrial clients
  • Support engineering design and optimization for water and vapor treatment systems
  • Participate in field investigations, sampling activities, pilot programs, and full-scale remedial efforts
  • Oversee operation and maintenance of remediation systems
  • Design and oversee system improvement projects and system upgrades
  • Conduct soil and groundwater investigations and sample collection
  • Perform site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
  • Compile, evaluate, and QA/QC data
  • Support report writing, permitting, and cost estimating
  • Coordinate with project managers and senior engineering staff
  • Interpret and evaluate field and analytical data
  • Prepare engineering designs, permit applications, and construction-related documents
  • Support soil and groundwater remedial system and in-situ technology treatment design and assessments
  • Engage in face-to-face meetings with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders
  • Perform field and office tasks with periodic travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Focus on health and safety
  • Excellent teambuilding and organizational abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel and perform field work
  • Regional business travel for up to 1–2 days per week on average
  • U.S. travel for up to two weeks at a time a few times per year
  • EIT Certification preferred
