About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and develop solutions according to business requirements
- Analyze and resolve production issues according to SLA
- Work with the HCM product owner to plan and prioritize the backlog
- Work with HCM module leads and cross-functional leads to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Support efficient daily standups, refinements, and retrospectives
- Maintain configuration workbooks and relevant documentation
- Prioritize workload and deliver to deadlines
- Support and guide junior resources in resolving tickets and managing continuous improvement requirements
- Collaborate with domain BPOs, BPEs, KBUs, and end users
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Oracle Operations & Optimization colleagues, and third parties
- Implement Oracle solutions addressing business priorities and improving end-user experience, functionality, and efficiency
- Assess and validate vendor solutions or create proposed solutions for incidents and problems
- Participate in Oracle Quarterly Update processes, preparing and executing test scripts
- Join Oracle support sessions and assess the technical landscape for optimal configuration
- Deliver continuous improvement projects and configuration changes
- Contribute to proofs of concept and functional design workshops
- Prepare configuration documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in technical solution development, documentation, and testing
- Contribute to Oracle functional solution decisions, quarterly update testing, SOPs, and training materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent business and application knowledge in the Oracle HCM domain, including Core HCM, OTL, ORC, OLC, Benefits and Compensation, Performance Management, and HR Helpdesk
- Proven experience in BAU support and continuous improvement lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR business processes
- Experience with HCM Fast Formulas, HDLs, and HCM Extracts
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in the HCM domain and ability to assess impact of change
- Ability to work on continuous improvement and business projects
- Ability to review and challenge proposed solution designs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with global stakeholders
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, SQL, OTBI, or BI Publisher advantageous
- Stakeholder management experience advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge
- 5+ years of proven experience as an Oracle Cloud HCM developer/configurator
- Agile/CI Framework knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Oracle Cloud Certification preferred
- Experience in agile delivery frameworks/methodologies preferred
- Experience in managing incidents/problems preferred
- Experience designing and delivering changes/solutions in an Oracle landscape for a global organization preferred
