About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage geospatial solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Pro and QGIS
- Support environmental studies by conducting spatial analyses and integrating geographic data
- Manage geospatial databases, ensuring their organization, maintenance, integrity, and availability
- Create, update, and maintain thematic maps, dashboards, and interactive reports
- Apply cartographic principles to the structuring, standardization, and management of geospatial datasets
- Integrate geographic, environmental, and operational data sources
- Support the digitization and automation of internal processes through GIS tools and digital platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental projects
- Support the development of technical deliverables and presentations related to geospatial analyses
- Contribute to innovative solutions for managing and visualizing environmental data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Cartographic Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with geoprocessing software, particularly ArcGIS and/or QGIS
- Knowledge of spatial data management and structuring
- Experience with geospatial databases
- Knowledge of applied cartography and geographic data modeling
- Familiarity with spatial analyses applied to environmental studies
- Experience creating maps, interactive dashboards, and geospatial reports
- Knowledge of geographic database integration and spatial data processing
- Familiarity with the Power Platform, particularly Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Preferred: experience with environmental licensing, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies, or environmental monitoring
- Knowledge of process automation and integration between GIS systems
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, and JavaScript programming
- Certifications in ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS tools are a plus
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise environments is a plus
