About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess, develop, and support management and information technology consulting projects
- Perform data analytics, financial analysis, operational and organizational assessments, condition assessments, and vulnerability and mitigation evaluations
- Plan and develop solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities, primarily in the water, wastewater, and stormwater sectors
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand and document requirements
- Deliver solutions through reports and visualizations
- Support general fieldwork and technical office-based analysis
- Prepare technical reports, business development materials, presentations, and audiovisual content
- Collaborate with colleagues across the U.S. and internationally
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within established budgets, timelines, and strict deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Computer or Data Science, Management Information Systems, or closely related discipline
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Preferred: Master of Science degree in a related discipline
- Preferred: Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- Preferred: Proficiency in MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
- Preferred: Exposure to Python, Java, or C# and Jira or DevOps
- Preferred: Knowledge of Azure or AWS
- Preferred: Water, wastewater, or stormwater industry experience or strong interest in the sector
