About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support project administration for multiple project managers and operations in the Midwest Region, primarily Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana
  • Track progress of various projects
  • Prepare contract reports for management use
  • Monitor project budgets
  • Prepare and distribute routine project correspondence
  • Work with project managers to ensure client invoices are prepared and sent monthly
  • Provide and analyze financial project metric reports, including project revenue, profitability, and accounts receivable
  • Coordinate with subcontractors on billing requirements
  • Set up new projects and update project forecasts in project management tools
  • Prepare documents associated with client billing and contracts
  • Verify invoices comply with contract terms
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets and perform quality control of billing documents
  • Participate in monthly project reviews with Finance Managers and Project Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years of related experience (preferred)
  • Finance background or coursework (preferred)
  • Previous experience with client billing procedures (preferred)
  • Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced setting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Motivation to pursue continual innovative process improvements
