About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support delivery of cost and commercial management services across major infrastructure projects
- Develop cost estimates, budgets and forecasting models
- Provide commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, particularly NEC contracts
- Analyse project and financial data to identify risks, opportunities and recommendations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes, systems and ways of working
- Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
- Support delivery of projects to agreed cost, programme and quality objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Professionally qualified or working towards chartered status (MRICS, MCICES or equivalent)
- Experience delivering cost and commercial management services within infrastructure projects
- Exposure to major rail, transportation or mobility programmes
- Strong understanding and practical application of NEC contracts
- Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract commercial management activities
- Excellent analytical, financial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for delivering value for clients
