About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, review, and validate technical reports related to contaminated site management
- Develop technical details and critically analyze environmental studies and investigations of environmental liabilities
- Manage, organize, and interpret analytical and environmental results in databases
- Provide technical coordination for environmental investigation and contaminated site management projects
- Maintain direct client relationships by leading technical meetings, presenting results, and aligning project activities
- Support team leadership and the technical development of team members
- Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Support fieldwork planning, laboratory results analysis, and the definition of technical strategies
- Prepare technical opinions, presentations, and project progress-tracking documents
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies applied to contaminated site management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing contaminated site management studies, including Preliminary Assessment (Phase 1), Confirmatory Investigation (Phase 2), and Detailed Investigation and subsequent phases (Phase 3)
- Experience interpreting environmental results and managing technical databases
- Experience preparing technical reports, environmental opinions, and client presentations
- Experience managing client relationships and leading technical meetings
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation applicable to contaminated site management
- Experience evaluating and interpreting analytical results from soil, groundwater, and related environmental media
- Knowledge of managing and consolidating environmental databases
- Advanced proficiency in preparing technical reports and environmental studies
- Strong critical-thinking and evidence-based decision-making skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate English proficiency (required)
- A postgraduate qualification in Contaminated Site Management, specialization in hydrogeology, environmental remediation, environmental investigation, or a related field, as well as environmental consulting experience, are considered a plus
