About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver world-class tolling and revenue systems
Own significant features end to end and shape system design decisions
Develop, test, maintain, deploy, and support secure services and applications across the tolling stack
Work on roadside and lane software, back-office transaction and account processing, and customer-facing web and mobile channels
Integrate with payment and financial processors, CRM, IVR, contact centre, interoperability, registry, violation, and collection systems
Provide senior-level full-stack development across front end, back end, and databases
Build back-office transaction processing, account management, fare and toll rate configuration, money handling, settlement, auditing, and violation processing capabilities
Develop and maintain customer-facing web portals, mobile applications, and APIs
Define automated tests and optimize SQL Server and Oracle data storage and retrieval
Identify and mitigate security risks and support payment and personal-data compliance
Support deployments, upgrades, production incidents, client integration, testing, and acceptance
Provide technical direction, perform code reviews, evaluate estimates and feature requests, and contribute to architecture decisions
Mentor developers and promote continuous learning, quality, and delivery efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum seven years of professional software development experience
Deep practical knowledge of C# and .NET, including Web API
Experience with Angular and TypeScript
Strong relational database skills with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including query development, optimization, and support
Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
Experience delivering and maintaining customer-facing production systems
Understanding of distributed systems and software patterns
Strong grasp of the full software development life cycle, including CI/CD, testing strategy, and deployment practices
Confident, clear communication with clients and colleagues
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with tolling, transit fare collection, payments, billing, or revenue or transaction processing domain is nice to have
Familiarity with payment processing, PCI DSS, or financial reconciliation and settlement is nice to have
Experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365, contact centre and IVR systems is nice to have
Mobile development experience or React/Vue.js exposure is nice to have
Consulting or client-delivery experience across distributed international teams is nice to have
