About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a technical and project delivery leader for municipal water and wastewater projects throughout the Southwest
- Provide team leadership, technical oversight, and multidisciplinary coordination from project initiation through construction
- Lead integrated, multidisciplinary project teams using staff from Phoenix and other Arcadis offices
- Support mentoring, resource coordination, and business development
- Help lead regional planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects
- Deliver infrastructure projects with a focus on Arizona, California, and Texas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer license in Arizona
- Minimum 15 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater engineering
- Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary projects through planning, design, and construction
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineers
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Active engagement in the water and wastewater industry through professional organizations and industry events
- California or Texas Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain California or Texas licensure, is desirable
