About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and help cultivate new business opportunities within the Power & Energy and Fuels markets
- Leverage professional relationships and industry networks to facilitate introductions to prospective clients and partners
- Strengthen client connections and position Arcadis with organizations that can benefit from its services
- Provide strategic guidance on market trends, emerging opportunities, client priorities and business development activities
- Work with Arcadis leadership and pursuit teams on selected pursuits and opportunities
- Contribute technical expertise, industry insight and relevant client intelligence to pursuit teams
- Participate in client meetings, industry events and business development discussions as requested
- Strengthen Arcadis' visibility, credibility and reputation within targeted markets
- Advise on growth strategies and opportunities aligned with business objectives
- Support the growth and expansion of Arcadis' Power & Energy and Fuels business on a part-time, as-needed basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in the Power & Energy, Fuels or related industries
- Strong professional network and established relationships within relevant target markets, including clients, partners and industry stakeholders
- Recognized technical, operational or industry expertise, with credibility to serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
- Demonstrated ability to influence business development outcomes, support growth initiatives and contribute to identifying, cultivating and advancing new business opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to provide strategic market guidance, client insight and technical input to leaders and pursuit teams
- No mandatory degree, licence, registration, certification or professional designation was specified
- Preferred: experience participating in client meetings, industry events and business development discussions
- Preferred: experience advising leadership on market trends, client priorities, emerging opportunities and growth strategies within targeted Power & Energy or Fuels markets
