About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out activities supporting the development and implementation of engineering solutions
- Provide a substantial technical role for a single discipline on smaller or less complex project tasks
- Manage stakeholders and ensure designs follow project standards and code requirements
- Coordinate with clients, regions, and other Global Excellence Centres to produce engineering deliverables
- Undertake task management when assigned
- Conduct training and guide junior team members
- Develop knowledge of international design standards through training, certifications, and continuing education
- Lead a project team
- Automate design processes and workflows
- Ensure the correctness and quality of project deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in structural engineering
- Experience working in a design consultancy firm
- Proficient in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, Robot, TEDDS, Tekla Structures, or SCIA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Experience using management system requirements to support design and engineering project delivery
- Ability to participate in safe design processes using hazard identification and risk assessment
- Ability to contribute to selecting engineering techniques, procedures and methods
- Excellent time management skills
- Civil Engineering license preferred
- Master's degree is an advantage
- Working towards Charterships with international institutes is an advantage
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure metro projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an advantage
- Knowledge of international design standards is an advantage
- Programming knowledge using C++, Python, or Dynamo is an advantage
