About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate, plan, and design water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance projects
- Assess, develop, and support the design of facilities and infrastructure
- Assist with field investigations
- Perform calculations
- Write technical memos and specifications
- Assemble drawings
- Support construction phase services
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize operations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare reports, presentations, and audiovisual materials
- Participate in client meetings
- Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards
- Facilitate coordination for timely, on-budget project completion and submission
- Collaborate with team members across the U.S. and internationally
- Learn and use SharePoint and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or another closely related academic discipline
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water/wastewater/stormwater
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors (preferred)
- EIT certification (preferred)
