About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead tasks and projects for the planning, design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and/or treatment plants
Develop design and construction documents, including reports, technical memoranda, and specifications
Support construction administration and ensure processes align with established guidelines
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to achieve project objectives
Serve as Design Manager or Assistant Project/Design Manager on projects
Oversee critical tasks and ensure successful delivery of project goals
Develop scopes of work and budgets aligned with client and organizational expectations
Support client teams by identifying, tracking, and positioning for new opportunities
Participate in pursuit capture planning and assist with proposal preparation
Attend local project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, planning activities, and construction oversight as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
Design Management experience
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges
EIT or PE license preferred
6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water/wastewater market preferred
3 years of experience in local municipal water/wastewater markets preferred
Master of Science or Master of Engineering in a related field preferred
Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations preferred
