About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure workspace users receive a best-in-class experience
- Manage an internal team and/or contract management and service delivery of outsourced Workplace suppliers
- Ensure standards and KPIs are met across properties within the remit, including audits where applicable
- Support budget setting, approve costs within approval limits, and report and manage budget variances
- Interface with safety, health, environment and quality functions to meet Workplace Health and Safety and Sustainability responsibilities
- Support reviews and updates of Workplace standards
- Coordinate Workplace communications and Intranet sites
- Support workplace projects within properties as required
- Provide leadership, guidance and development to team members
- Ensure compliance with legislation, codes of practice, Arcadis standards and operational workplace services/HSE responsibilities
- Escalate and resolve portfolio-related Workplace issues
- Advise and guide Arcadis, senior teams and suppliers on FM and Workplace operational matters
- Manage the supply chain to deliver consistent service standards, financial and operational compliance, innovation and continual improvement
- Manage contractor and subcontractor compliance and service delivery, including reviewing RAMS, MS and COSHH data
- Manage property Workplace budgets, including setting budgets, reporting variances and corrective actions
- Interface with enabling functions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Participate in the wider Workplace team and support development, innovation and improvement
- Deputize as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sound knowledge of FM/Workplace matters and practices gained through sufficient experience in a similar environment
- Minimum of five years’ experience leading FM/Workplace service
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualified
- Experience managing budgets in excess of $500k, including budget setting, reporting and variance management
- Fluency in written and spoken English and the local country language
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Ability to develop effective stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrable experience in FM/Workplace or a similar customer-facing environment
- Sound knowledge of IT systems used in delivering Workplace services
