About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote, expand utilization of, and drive demand for Arcutis dermatology products within targeted specialty physician offices
  • Conduct high-impact, in-person and minimally virtual engagements with targeted dermatology customers
  • Deliver scientific and clinically focused product messaging
  • Develop and execute a strategic geography business plan to expand account penetration, optimize coverage, and achieve or exceed sales objectives
  • Partner with 2–3 Therapeutic Sales Specialists and cross-functional teams on growth strategies and coordinated plans
  • Build and maintain expertise in products, disease states, and market access
  • Support peer development through knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Plan and execute territory- and national-level promotional programs and initiatives
  • Manage customer accounts, including marketing support, product access, reimbursement navigation, and compliant responses to medical inquiries
  • Represent the company professionally, compliantly, and ethically
  • Adhere to company and governmental compliance requirements and safety/health protocols
  • Leverage resources to maximize territory impact and contribute leadership within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience required
  • 3+ years of dermatology experience with established relationships strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success supporting product launches and driving sustained growth of established brands and indications strongly preferred
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple internal, cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with strong work ethic and drive
  • Passion for patients and educating prescribers on innovative solutions
  • Proven experience selling complex products in a highly competitive environment
  • Startup experience desired
  • Valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned geography, including meetings, training events and programs as necessary
  • Overnight travel required 25–50%, based on territory needs
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate scientific and technical information in compliance with applicable pharmaceutical sales regulations, guidelines, and policies
  • For internal candidates: top 50% of sales ranking and/or demonstrated ability to grow business and influence others, and good standing
