About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer the position requisition process and collaborate with hiring managers on job description development, selection criteria, and candidate competencies
- Create job postings in the UKG HRIS system
- Review resumes and serve as the first candidate touchpoint
- Conduct initial interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers
- Develop external candidate sourcing strategies using networking and recruitment technology including BetterTeam, Indeed, UKG Recruiting, and Handshake
- Advise and train managers on interviewing and candidate selection best practices
- Extend employment offers and negotiate with candidates as needed
- Manage required new-hire documents and electronic applications
- Process candidate assessments and background screenings
- Analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs and report results to leadership
- Process personnel and job changes in the HRIS system
- Maintain and audit employee-related files and documents
- Lead contractor and temporary employee processes while coordinating with hiring managers, Corporate Legal, and Accounting
- Develop initiatives that foster a positive work culture and enhance employee experience
- Collaborate across departments on employee involvement and morale programs
- Organize company-wide birthday events, holiday celebrations, and volunteer days
- Perform special projects and other related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of current experience, HR-related education, or applicable related training
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of federal employment laws/procedures and regulatory compliance guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with senior leadership
- Knowledge of administrative support functions including organization skills, composing business documents, and customer service
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong communications and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to analyze, integrate and report data
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of various roles
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions
- Ability to regularly talk or hear and frequently sit
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and taste or smell
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
