About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms
- Perform patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring
- Utilize multiple healthcare technology systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Establish collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care
- Adhere to organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines
- Provide safe, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing
- Must have a compact license
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
