About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and optimise intake and stock across channels
- Manage planning and forecasting to bring the right stock into the business, grow sales and minimise risk
- Work closely with product, sales, ecom and supply chain to ensure optimum stock intake
- Provide actionable sales and stock insight to enable timely trading decisions and optimise stock holding
- Manage intake within sales and OTB targets agreed with the Senior Merchandise Planning Manager
- Maintain forecasts within range plans across wholesale, .com, marketplace and events
- Propose and agree sales and stock targets by sub-category
- Drive availability across core and seasonal lines within agreed KPIs
- Work with Product to drive category growth
- Manage the purchasing critical path with Ariat International and ensure key dates are met
- Ensure all purchase orders are loaded in a timely manner
- Set up and manage SAP
- Create regular reporting to provide business insight
- Liaise with Supply Chain Manager to ensure goods are brought in timely
- Liaise with Stock Co-ordinator to ensure best use of stock
- Report availability levels by channel
- Manage and propose markdown pricing
- Progress own development through on-the-job training to understand the end-to-end product process
- Participate in calls and build relationships with US planning partners
- Act as ambassador for the AE team and build relationships with the US team
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong Excel and Microsoft office
- Use of SAP
- Experience manipulating large data sets

- Customer Service skills
- 3+ years Planning experience in similar environment
- Experience in wholesale, retail and ecommerce
- Experience in Footwear or Apparel
- Experience of consumer fashion products
- Numerate and commercial
- Articulate communicator
- A level or equivalent
- Relevant Degree preferred
