Rapidly prototype and iterate on backend solutions and create Proofs of Concept
Partner with frontend developers, ML engineers, and domain experts to design and deliver innovative solutions
Integrate AI/ML models into backend systems and optimize performance for scalable applications
Build scalable and secure systems using AWS services and industry best practices
Guide team members, share knowledge, and foster curiosity and experimentation
Experiment with cutting-edge technologies and deliver impactful solutions through the Innovation Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Curiosity and passion for emerging backend technologies
Ability to create, prototype, and refine solutions quickly
Ability to communicate technical ideas accessibly
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development
Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and S3
Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into backend systems
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog
Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and debugging tools
Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queues such as SQS, SNS, or Kafka
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
Understanding of database optimization and performance tuning for SQL and NoSQL databases
