About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop the training program for the CASA of Arizona program within the Dependent Children’s Services Division of the Supreme Court
- Work with 15 local Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs, National CASA Association, and faculty
- Develop curriculum and coordinate educational programs for CASA staff and volunteers
- Create computer-based training and curriculum for traditional classroom settings
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate conferences, regional trainings, workshops, and alternative education programs
- Facilitate and present educational content to committees and faculty
- Organize and manage multiple complex projects
- Travel approximately 35%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in education, Communication, Public Administration, or a Social Services-related field
- At least three years’ experience in classroom training and curriculum development, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge and skills in methods and techniques of curriculum and educational program development for adult learners
- Ability to teach curriculum and educational program development concepts to committees and faculty
- Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating education programs, including conferences, regional trainings, workshops, and alternative delivery methods
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience organizing and managing multiple complex projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment
- Ability to effectively use development software to produce computer-based training, including multimedia presentation programs, Learning Management Systems, and other creative development tools
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Preferred: knowledge of Arizona Judiciary and court department operations and structure
- Travel level: 35%
