About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, configure, and maintain servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environments
  • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, performance, uptime, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, networking, firewall, VPN, hardware, software, and network issues
  • Monitor security controls for firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation activities
  • Evaluate infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements
  • Maintain and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Monitor backups, replication, and restoration processes
  • Document systems, configurations, changes, procedures, and technical processes
  • Create technical diagrams, procedural manuals, and knowledge base articles
  • Provide regular reports on system performance, uptime, and incidents
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and personnel on infrastructure projects
  • Research emerging technologies and assess their impact on infrastructure
  • Provide support and training to end-users and junior IT personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in information technology infrastructure or related roles, such as systems or network administration
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
