About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform individual counseling and instruction to at-risk youth regarding performance, personal problems, and behavioral problems
- Supervise and ensure the physical safety and well-being of youth program participants
- Ensure the safety and security of campus buildings and grounds
- Maintain records of student movement and facility functions in accordance with laws, regulations, and policies
- Assist in client intake and service referrals
- Provide basic counseling and resource navigation
- Maintain accurate records and case documentation
- Support community outreach and public education initiatives
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups for client services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of six months of work experience in human services programs or public service
- Required background check
- Required child/adult maltreatment registry check
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver's License
- Must meet the eligibility requirements covered by the state insurance policy
- Must be able to work shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather events
- Must wear a uniform and maintain military-style grooming and appearance
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
