About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate packaging equipment and maintain daily packaging process efficiencies
- Transfer raw materials
- Transfer finished materials between warehouses
- Perform housekeeping
- Assist with emptying finished product from industrial dryers
- Comply with technical, quality control, product manufacturing, and safety procedures for packaging
- Operate equipment for various processing systems
- Operate powered industrial trucks
- Perform other operator assistance tasks and general duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and physical testing
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Chemical plant production experience strongly desired
- Forklift/tow motor experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic computer knowledge
- Physical dexterity for climbing stairs and ladders and performing heavy lifting
