About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical discovery with customer teams to map data sources, systems, infrastructure, and existing architecture
Design solution architectures covering ingestion and integration, ontology and data models, forecasting and AI components, and cloud and security requirements
Design and build end-to-end Proofs of Concept on real customer data and present results to engineering teams and C-level executives
Translate forecasting, inventory, demand planning, pricing, and supply chain problems into Data & AI solutions with measurable outcomes
Quantify business cases through KPIs, operational improvements, and ROI
Define scope, integration requirements, and technical Statements of Work
Hand off architectures and expectations to the Forward Deployed Engineering team
Answer technical RFPs and customer questions about cloud infrastructure, security, data governance, and platform capabilities
Partner with Growth Managers on enterprise opportunities and customer IT architecture reviews
Bring customer feedback and market insight to Product and Engineering
Own the solution from the first technical conversation through the signed Statement of Work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, data consultant, or another customer-facing technical role, ideally with enterprise customers
Strong SQL and Python skills, with ability to explore, model, and interpret transactional data
Hands-on experience with lakehouse and medallion patterns, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, dbt, data pipelines, and APIs
Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS, including enterprise security and governance
Experience building with LLMs, including agents, RAG, evals, or similar
Practical understanding of forecasting, inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain operations
Track record of demos, prototypes, or Proofs of Concept that moved a deal forward
Ability to explain complex technical concepts as business value to executive stakeholders and navigate ambiguous requirements
Professional fluency in Spanish and English
Based in Mexico City and available to travel to customer sites
