About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for clients
Lead client calls regarding deliverables, KPIs, and updates
Ensure the India team meets all client KPIs
Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, financial planning, and business growth
Liaise with the US team on client engagements
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
Drive process improvements and innovation
Foster client relationships and provide financial insights and solutions
Support internal and external audit processes and regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in accounting
Proven track record of leadership and managerial excellence
Deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Experience in a client-service or public accounting environment preferred
Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, including D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams
Strategic mindset focused on business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
