About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and document client business processes, accounting workflows, and system requirements to support Rillet implementations
  • Develop deep expertise in the Rillet platform, implementation approach, and emerging use cases
  • Configure and deploy the Rillet platform according to client requirements and best practices
  • Lead and support end-to-end Rillet implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Develop and execute test scripts and support client user acceptance testing
  • Train client finance and accounting teams on Rillet functionality, workflows, and reporting
  • Assist with data migrations, historical data validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Design recommendations for improved financial processes using Rillet’s AI-native capabilities and automation
  • Configure native and third-party integrations such as Stripe, Ramp, Salesforce, payroll, and billing
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and financial insights using Rillet reporting and analytics tools
  • Coordinate project execution and client success with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Provide written and verbal project status updates to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, scope, and budget
  • Own assigned client engagements or workstreams from start to finish with minimal oversight
  • Identify issues, risks, or inefficiencies, propose solutions, and escalate risks when necessary
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during and after implementation
  • Provide post-implementation support and guidance
  • Help build, refine, and scale the internal Rillet delivery model, including methodologies, templates, documentation, and best practices
  • Help define processes and standards in a dynamic, evolving practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, business, or related major or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with accounting systems, ERP platforms, or financial technology solutions
  • Experience implementing cloud-based accounting and finance systems (ERP or close-adjacent platforms)
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial processes (close, reporting, consolidation, controls)
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to continuously grow technical, accounting, and consulting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing implementation engagements
  • Strong project management and client leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience with system configuration, integrations, and user training
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across internal teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to ramp quickly in new environments, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to learn by doing while maintaining high-quality client delivery
  • Ability to work onsite in one of our Armanino offices up to 50%
  • Preferred: Experience with Rillet, AI-native ERP platforms, or modern close automation tools
  • Preferred: Background in high-growth, venture-backed, or multi-entity environments
  • Preferred: Prior consulting or professional services experience
  • Preferred: Experience working with startup or technology-focused clients
